Below is a breakdown of the services received by the members:
Consulting Services Each member company receives one-day (8-hours) of consulting services per year. Services can be divided into ˝ hour segments or any combination up to one full day over the course of a year. Consulting service can cover any issue the company would like to discuss and, can involve as many people as the company would like to have involved.
Retail Industry Conference Calls Held six times per year, these 90-minute calls are moderated by Mark Hunter and focus on the following areas: · Review the latest trends and how they impact the retail industry. · Update on key moves being made by major retailers and review their impact on the industry. Review of key retail indicators comparing them to key economic indicators to understand how the retail industry will perform in the coming months.
Retail Industry Monthly Reports Reports are developed by MJH & Associates and distributed 12 times per year via hard copy and PDF. Reports cover the following topics: · Current store comps for all of the major retailers across the major retail channels. · Current updates on store openings and closings by major chain. · Current key financial moves made by retailers. Current key findings reported in the quarterly and annual filings of the major retailers.
Strategic Planning to Market Successfully in Today’s Retail Environment Program is an intense two-day event hosted and conducted personally by Mark Hunter. Location: Chicago / August 9 – 10 Program will allow each attending company to answer the following questions: · What is the real cost of gaining a new account? · What is the real cost of maintaining an account? · What are the real reasons companies use me? · What is our distinguishable point of difference? · What segments of our business is most at risk of being lost to a competitor(s)? · What segment(s) of our business are most at risk of becoming obsolete? · How do we determine the strength and potential of a new or existing account? · What areas the new areas that offer the greatest potential for business? · What opportunities will provide our business with the greatest potential to grow our business? Attendees will leave the 2-day program with the framework to finalize a strategic marketing plan allowing them to improve their gross volume and net profit. (Attendees are responsible for their own transportation and lodging.)
Sales Conference Calls Held each month, these 60-minute calls each cover a specific sales issue and is hosted by Mark Hunter, The Sales Hunter. Topics covered include: · Demonstrating value to gain incremental revenue · Negotiating tactics for use with existing accounts · Establishing profitable new accounts · Finding out key business drivers of potential new accounts · Using questions to deliver a presentation to a potential account Listening for buying signals and using closing techniques successfully

Below are the individual rates for each of these individual services: o Consulting services from Mark Hunter: $2,400 per day o Retail industry conference calls: $87 per call / $522 annually o Retail industry reports: $38 per report / $456 annually o 2-Day conference on Strategic Planning/Marketing: $1,140. per person / $470 for each additional attendee o Sales conference calls: $38 per call / $456 annually Total Annual Cost: $4,938
